This is taken on our way back from Snape Maltings to Aldeburgh in Suffolk as afternoon sun shone brightly through the trees, not far from the cottage we were staying at.
3 good things:
1 - A great 8.2 mile walk to Snape Maltings and back
2 - Lovely to have my old school friend come join us in the evening at the cottage
3 - Fish and chip supper, and homemade Eton mess (with rhubarb warmed in a pan with my homemade sloe gin) with champagne in the cottage followed by more drinks, cheese and games in the evening
