Not a particularly distinct sunrise but it was the best shot of the day after some slightly flat weather in Abu Dhabi. Not terrible and still very warm but at times the desert atmosphere thickened up and took the nice bright light away at times during the day.
The good thing about this sunrise is that I have it coming straight into my room every morning as I face this view. And I have my curtains open when I go to bed so the light comes in when I wake up.
3 good things:
1 - Nice NOT to have to be up, and at work while it is still dark
2 - A lovely day out on the course covering the golf
3 - A room party in the hotel to celebrate a colleague's birthday - it went on till late but it was worth it
