This was last weekend just as the sun was coming up, but unfortunately it wasn't anywhere to be seen. The cloud layer was thick and the rain had gently started to come down, so I thought i'd try and get a long exposure for some silky water.
I had been working inside the Royal Festival Hall, setting up cameras ready for that evening's broadcast of the BATFA TV Awards, and had a couple of hours break before handing over to the morning crew. I decided a wander with my camera wouldn't hurt.
It was a good evening too, as the company I work for (CTV Outside Broadcasts Ltd) not only provided the technical facilities for the BAFTA's, but we were part of a winning broadcast as last year's Open golf event won in the Sport category. I was lucky enough to be there and it's great to have been part of a winning production.
3 good things:
1 - Good to get finished on my overnight shift and head
2 - After a couple of hours sleep, a very productive day in the house
3 - Having Chris back at the house after his long trip away
