I spent a few days last week in Glasgow working on a UFC cage fighting event for American broadcasters which took place in the Hydro building, which can be seen on the left. My hotel was directly opposite this and the old crane which has been left as it was in all it's glory, standing tall amongst the new building along the riverside. Both these buildings serve as a reminder of a rich history in Glasgow as well as looking toward a bright future too. I like the contrast they create.
