Be your own Van Gogh!

Today my son and I visited the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. It took us 3 hours to see the 200 paintings and numerous drawings.

On this pic you see a woman creating her own impression of the famous 'Sunflowers' in a free workshop at the museum.

Wow! I totally rediscovered Vincent's powerful art again. The audiotour was very informative and inviting to dive deeper into his impressive work! So sad that he choose to die in 1891 by shooting himself in the brest...

I love the backs of the canvases - art works in themselves. It is a great scene. Fav. We followed the audiotour on our visit a few years ago. it was very interesting.
