Recently I joined a photoclub and today we had a few hours for evening photography in the historical city of Utrecht. I'm so impatient and need to learn sooooo much more about making acceptable pics in the dark. Super fun and learned a lot :-)
@darylo I love it too but have to learn a lot. I have a tripod. I accidentely posted this bicycle pic. It's much too blurry so today I've posted one that's a little bit better. I find it difficult to get a sharp shot in the dark. My live view is quite dark and focussing through the viewfinder is also troublesome for me. But, the good news is that you're never too old to learn and night photography is fun :-)
@pistache thank you for your comments, Clare! I really enjoy them! It's my first time in a photoclub and I find it inspiring. It triggers me in many ways. Trying out new techniques and discussing them with 'real people' is nice for a change ;-) I even printed a few of my pics :-)
@stimuloog in live view, I hit the magnifier so I can get as close as possible to a focal point to manually adjust focus. Try to use a little torch or flashlight to help see the buttons. I love doing it with friends too.
