I don't go to bars often but this one is so atmospherical! It's situated in the little Frisian harbour town called Stavoren. Friesland is a northern province of Holland and has it's own language (difficult to understand by the non-Frisian Dutchmen). We played pool and had a nice white beer with a slice of lemon. Pure enjoyment :-)
The table in this pic is made of a sword of a flatboat and the wall paintings are almost hundred years old.
That looks like quite a place. I really like your focus on the splendid table with its wide beams. So much history on display. Glad you enjoyed your night out.
