We had such good day, yesterday. The sun came finally out in Stavoren and we hit a terrace with a 'white beer'. Then suddenly a boat came and moored in front of our cafe. The whole terrace was swinging on the rock and roll sounds of this great band. Finaly they used a fishing net on a long stick (typically Dutch) to collect money.
There was this little child (here you see its father sticking his thumb up) that was too late to give some money. So, the boat returned to the shore and gave the kid the opportunity to throw some money in the net. Everybody happy :-)
Although the music this band played was very different from the YouTube link I've posted here, the title of this pic reminded me of this hit by the Hues Corporation, I really liked in 1974 when I was 14...
Enjoyed the story - and of course, the accompanying image. A lot of musicians on the boat - I hope there was enough in the net to make it worth their while!
