Back to South Africa now and this lioness was on the prowl so close to the lodge we were staying at - I can understand why we had to phone for a ranger when we wanted to leave our room and go to the dining room !. Just the day before this photo was taken (from the safety of our jeep) we had been on a walking safari on the very spot that she is, phew that was close !!
