What continues to amaze me about this project is the fact that you can be on your way somewhere, turn a corner and there is your shot for the day. just like that, from not even thinking about photography...to grabbing your camera....click, it's in the bag and you're on your way again.
I loved the way this girl was perched on the stack of newspapers, totally engrossed in her phone whilst the hustle and bustle of London passed her by.
Love this shot Ian, you couldn't have staged it (well technically you could of course). Love those stacks of newspapers and the way she is just perched on the edge. The processing is spot on too. I would guess she rides as her deportment is so good! Have a great bank holiday weekend.
Very true, and I find just as you're starting to get desperate for a shot, an opportunity arises, and ends up being one of your better shots :-) Excellent capture....love the processing......awesome!
Another great shot Ian which tells a story. I love it too when a photo just happens. Looks brilliant in b&w just like the newspaper print. Love the title.
great eye ... my friend ...nice title ... you are right about the pictures ... "i c them everywhere ..." .. I tell some of my friends ..."there goes a picture ..." and they think am crazy :-)
Great street shot and wonderfully spotted. If nothing else, this project genuinely helps you to look and see things differently. Love the shot and processing. fav
Excellent shot! I'm thinking she is reading the news...while sitting on the news! Fav for that great use of b&w to go with the idea of b&w newsprint :)
@paulaw Haha Paula, I didn't think you were suggesting I set it up :) Would have been a good idea but not sure my imagination would have seen such a shot so I'm glad this young lady created the shot for me by accident!
