Hello Ian!! We all struggle in photography, and we are our biggest critics. The one thing i absolutely hate about this project is people are way to nice and will always tell you that your work is great, when we the photographer knows otherwise. If you really want to improve on your work join some critiquing communities on Google +. Those guys will make you a better photographer and they don't hold back. If you're not on Google + i highly recommend it for any photographer. Google + is a photographers dream.
Great shot, its your project enjoy it. Take a moment to be kind to yourself and enjoy the taking/creating of the photo. If you are in London on 7 Dec your welcome to join the 365 meet. 10.30am Liverpool Street, hat to be worn so we stand some chance of recognising each other.
Beautiful shot and composition. I can totally relate at the moment, struggling to find inspiration, motivation and time. People on this site are a wonderful support, I intend to complete the project but also trying to be kind to myself and accept that we can't be inspired 365 days of the year. Winter and dark days don't help either! But so what if not every shot is a masterpiece? D it at your own pace
@mackneezieblanco - good advice Mac, I'm going to check google + out. It's great to hear encouraging comments, but construstive critique is vital if we are to improve. I've just joined a camera club and the judges are always very honest and discerning..... I am hoping to improve my photography during my time with them.

Don't worry about struggling. We all struggle with something.
