A few days ago the smoke alarm started beeping every couple minutes because the battery was low. I replaced the battery and it was good for a few days, then it started beeping again in the middle of the night. I pulled it off the wall, pulled out the battery, and it kept beeping. I guess it has some internal battery. So outside it went, and I went back to bed.
