Took several pictures today with high contrast B&W in mind, not happy with any particularly but this was probably the better, still struggle to find the right subject for all the different B&W techniques I'm learning about.....
I agree, Susie. It has been a real challenge to find subjects that fit what I have in mind for the techniques, too. I almost wish I'd have undertaken this challenge in the spring/summer or had a better 'back stock' of photos that I could pop open. But, if it wasn't a struggle, it wouldn't be much of a challenge. Rock on!
I do like him - and the highlights are nice - "thinking" in b&w for images is definitely different from color to bring what you want out - still not comfortable trying to know what would work well.
It sounds so easy, contrast in B&W but it is difficult to capture a good photo in B&W that stands out. I likt this one and the shade on his face!
And did he drink the 'famous grouse'?
