Yesterday was the first time I have been into town for some time. I met a friend for coffee and we reckoned the cathedral was probably the safest place to go. It was lovely and quiet, I was able to light a candle for my Dad and my brother and just enjoy the peacefulness of the place.
Lovely reflection. I understand your feelings about going into town for the first time in ages. I did the same quite recently. I did a bit of Christmas shopping in Hereford, quite early in the day while it was quiet. I really enjoyed it.
