Key hooks

Yet another response to my get-pushed challenge to create panography.
@northy These creations just don't turn out they way I see them in my imagination when I am taking the shots.

This is a great keyrack.
I can see how you would be frustrated with your results. A small keyrack would be difficult to do a pano with.

Try it outdoors again. Are you using a tripod (it helps). Set your camera to manual so the focus, wb, or exposure does not change. Take note of where the edge and height of your first shot is before moving the camera. Give some overlap and try to keep the same elevation on your second shot.
I'm not sure which post processing program you use, but both Lightroom and Photoshop create panos very seamlessly.
Good luck! You will get it yet!

@farmreporter Thanks for your help, but a panorama isn't really the effect I'm after. Take a look at some of these examples. https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=panography&qpvt=panography&form=IGRE&first=1&tsc=ImageHoverTitle

i think this actually works quite well! i do find this technique quite challenging - more so than i would have expected... sometimes i think it would be easier with prints!

i've tried this several times and never really ended up with what i was going for and in the end, i think the only one i ever posted here was one where when i totally cheated... started with one image, cut it in pieces, resized some, and shifted others... https://365project.org/northy/365/2014-12-13
