hi Tim, for get -pushed this week i thought you might like to try something really different , an alternative photography process called anthotypes. You will need sunny weather, and time, so if you dont have all that this week then try to process a photo to look like a cyanotype instead . However anthotypes are a very intriguing process detailed here
when i did it i didnt bother with a lot of the steps, i just mashed small amounts of some different plant material in a pestle and mortar and brushed the resulting liquid on some small pieces of paper, placed ferns, feathers or other objects atop and held down with a piece of glass from a picture frame , placed in the sun for half a day and voila!
