these two trees in our front yard are Claret Ash...planted them a couple of years ago and they were both doing fine till last week when the one in the foreground started losing its leaves which are turning brown....and its not autumn yet..lol...its been very hot lately so i'm hoping that some extra water and nice words will help..
and I just noticed that funny curved line in the background of this shot.....it's one of those days ;)
We had that happen to a few of our claret ashes. They don't like the heat....I'd give it a good soak overnight, just with the hose dribbling very slowly at the base of the trunk. Hope it survives for you. Great shot too BTW. ..lovely yard.
Still waiting for our claret ash to go claret! Alas, after many years I think it is a decoy. I hope yours survive. There is also an orb in your photo. Spirit of gardener past?
