This is in our west side yard. There are eight trees in this group. There are more trees down on the north side. We have a number of very large trees down in the woods on the north side of our property. But this is nothing like others are experiencing since the devastation caused by two tornadoes that made their way through our rural community Sunday afternoon. So far there are 23 deaths and at least 20 people not accounted for. Please pray for our community here in Alabama, USA. We are safe and our house is fine. Others are with no homes and the loss of family. Pray for God's grace and mercy.
I've been seeing the news coverage on it today - didn't realize how close it must have been to you - they were saying a mile wide and 24 miles long - how devastating this one was - so glad your damage wasn't worse and prayers for your community.

glad to hear you were not hurt. Terrible tornadoes. I don't know that anyone can ever be totally prepared. Just have to do your best and leave it in God's hands.
Thank you all so very much for the prayers and kind words. Today was "clean up day". We had family and friends here early to cut and move limbs. It was a glorious day!
