Several weeks ago, in the middle of the night, our town had a severe fire requiring calling in the next town's fire department. The building that burned was a favorite Italian restaurant that was completely destroyed! That building has been cleaned here. The shops on the sides were damaged from all the water it took to extinguish the fire.
Our community rallied and the water damaged shops were moved to other locations in the downtown. The restaurant had already closed.
I thought the Christmas garland looked a little forlorn. Your town is to be commended for gathering together to help out the owners of the damaged shops.
