This was my favorite day of our Boise trip...our first full day. A day filled with hiking, a visit to my favorite part of town, barbecuing, running through sprinklers, and of course ice cream accompanied with some outdoor musical entertainment. I had trouble picking a photo from the day but had to go with this one. It may be one of my favorites of him to date. I just love his expression, the messy face, and dripping ice cream down the cone.
You've captured childhood perfectly!! How serious he looks, as if he's not impressed that your taking his photo or that his ice cream is melting so fast!
