A few days before Christmas, the car I have had and loved for over a decade was totaled. It was a humbling experience to go through and I learned so much from it. We got a brand new car (the first brand new one for me), and it is all very exciting, scary, and stressful. I am very happy with the car, though, and so are the kids. I hope this one lasts me at least another decade.
