We didn't go trick or treating this year, but instead stayed home, dressed up and decorated the house for our "party", played carnival games, did crafts, decorated cupcakes, and bobbed for apples. The kids had a blast. I don't know if it was better than a traditional Halloween, but for a pandemic Halloween, I will call it a win.
Love your pumpkins! My grandchildren also had a stay-at-home celebration. There were ghoulish cupcakes, caramel apples, Halloween colored foods for supper, spooky decorations and games. Different but fun, and not nearly as tiring.
