One of my friends moved away for here first 'real' job and we prepared a present for her and helped with transporting her stuff, so I didn't have a lot of time last week.
This picture is from my last week's walking in the English Garden. Right before you enter it, there is this Italian restaurant at the corner. Although it's Italian, it has a German name: Seerose (water lily). This is because in the beginning of the 20th century, my part of the city was the place to be for all kind of artists. So at first, the writer Thomas Mann lived here and wrote "Buddenbrooks" in this house. After the 2nd World War, artists of Schwabing met here for a beer or two.
Comments and suggestions are much appreciated!
