I had to look on Black as I felt it would look best that way and sure does. That steep looks wavy. Is it just the angel or is it starting to lean in a little bit? Great in B&W FAV

This spire is so unusual, and seems to be from a different era than the rest of the building. Great shot.

Great shot! I remember we used to take the train to somewhere when I was younger, and my dad would always tell us to look out for the twisted spire when we got close.
The pic works wonderfully in B&W

Awesome POV.

Very dramatic image. I thought you twisted the steeple Tony. But then found it was actually built straight but...." The Spire was built straight and the reason that it 'twisted' may be the amount of green timber used during its construction. Then 32 tons of lead tiles were placed on top" Who knew!

@joysfocus @vegansusan @rosiekind, Yes you are right Joy, it was a big mistake using Green timber, but it made this normal Church Famous.

@tonydebont @888rachel @vegansusan @paulaw @paulaw...Thank you all, It is twisted because they used Green wood and when it dried it twisted.
