Bottom Part of Garden.

Not be long before I will be trimming back the plants a bit ready for winter.
I always look forward to the photos of your gorgeous garden! A great reward for so much care and love that you put in. I wish I could see it in person ;-)

Such a glorious gardeners wonderland , Tony - Who can but envy such a feast to the eyes !!-- all created and maintained with a lot of hard work , knowledge and pleasure . Such a shame when it comes to Autumn , but the plants need their annual rest too ! FAV

@rosiekind Thank you Beryl, I will trim back a bit for winter but in spring I will cut back hard, Like to keep plenty of foliage on over winter for the birds to scat about getting the bugs, I Also don't clean the leaf's up, the garden looks untidy over winter, but at lease they can have a feed.

I'm the same. I tend to leave stalks and seed heads for the birds and just so things don't look so barren over winter. But I do wonder sometimes if doing so also keeps pest and plant diseases around too. I guess there is no perfect solution.

Would love to have a peek through into the rest of your garden. I always leave the seeds for the birds over winter it is surprising to see what they find and eat.
