Well I finally made it back to my project. My holiday was nice and it has taken a few days to get back in the groove. I thought I would start by showing you where I stayed for the week. This is the shanty....basically a shack on a rock, on a river. It is a hunt camp that has sat here on the Magnetewan River in Northern Ontario for almost 100 years. A lot has changed over the 30 years I have gone there. We do have a generator now but the toilet is still outside and water is brought by pump up from the river. It is extremely remote and reachable only by boat. Our only company is the abundance of mosquitoes and deer flies.
