@hermann yes, it was still overcast that day. You may wonder why there are lampposts on the edges of the grass field. It maybe hard to see but there is a ring dike around the field. As soon as there are a couple of frost days that last the full day. The local ice association will pour a couple of centimetres of water on the field. And within days there will be an ice risk for everyone to enjoy. All most every village in the Netherlands has such a field and ice association, even a small village as Zuidermeer with 480 inhabitants.

@hermann Your welcome Sally. Only after I had uploaded this photo I realised the cultural importance of the ice risk. Because when I took the photo I was just annoyed by the lampposts in the middle of my shot ;-)
