I'm wondering if this barn was once really red, but has faded with time. I see the trees have brushed patterns in the paint, as well as shielded the metal over the years. Some of the scrub trees have apparently been cut down...

@lyndemc Yes, I couldn't figure out the tree shapes on the sides of the barn. I think you are right. Those are places that didn't fade.
