Purple Glaze

We found this massive purple Christmas tree decoration that’s far too big for the tree. Side lit with yellow and blue lights. 3 second exposure on the phone.

My instincts with this is to take the top of the bauble away and not give reference to the fact it is a Christmas decoration. Just leave it as an abstract image. Why did you choose to do a 3 second exposure?

Good idea - I might try using it as a backdrop for a composite. The 3 seconds was chosen by the phone.

@twyles I am presuming because we cannot change the ISO on an iPhone, the only way to get enough light on the sensor is by a long exposure.
