Of all the wonderful shots of the Chicago skyline that I have taken today, I have ditched them all for this simple and imperfect shot.
The Chicago skyline changes slowly and will be there next week, next month, and next year when hopefully I will be a much better photographer, but this women with her yellow umbrella will not be there.
She was enjoying a lunch time open rehearsal at the Pritzker Pavillion for tonight's Jazz concert, sadly what this picture does not show was her feet tapping away to the music and her twirling of the umbrella along with the amazing talent of the musicians.
@ukandie1 We learn from everyone everytime but thanks. I really like to go to Chicago soon, before the winter. Maybe we could take a walk and take some pictures for an hour or too. I'll let you know if I go :)
awesome capture Ukandie! I can almost see her twirling that yellow umbrella. Well spotted.
There is nothing wrong with your photos, wish I could take as well as you do. You have an excellent eye for details
