Budding of the Fig Tree by vernabeth

Budding of the Fig Tree

Usually the first figs fall off after a late cold snap. The later crop will be ready in July. They are delicious raw but we usually make fig perserves and fig syrup.

“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.” Matthew 24:32
