There are some strange looking creature that live beneath the surface of the water. I enjoy going to the aquarium to watch them.
Thanks to Linda, I now know this is a Lion fish and that he is poisonous. The lionfish (also known as the turkeyfish, tigerfish, dragonfish, scorpionfish, and butterfly cod) is a poisonous spiky fish found in the warmer waters of the western and central Pacific Ocean. The lionfish is a predatory fish hunting small fish, but it's venom is capable of being fatal to larger creatures. We learn a lot from the 365 project.
Neat capture! I believe it is a lionfish. The lionfish have venom in their dorsal fins. Your pic caused me to google it to find more info. 365 is a real learning experience!
Thank you!
