The Hunter Art Museum is built high on the bluff overlooking the Tennessee and surrounding mountains in Chattanooga, TN. It was in Classic Revival style in 1904 as a private home. Later is was bought by the widow of the founder of CocaCola and was finally owned by her nephew, George T. Hunter, then CEO of the CocoCola Enterprises. At his death in 1951 it was left to Chattanooga Art Association to be used as an art museum.
