Female Downey

I've taken many picture of these little woodpeckers but it is the first time I've noticed the tail spread out.

she's very pretty. i agree, very cool tail. you probably already know this but for others finding it hard to distinguish between a large downey and a small hairy, the notches on her outer tail feathers id her as a downey.
