Salute to our fallen heros.

On Thursday, July 16th of this year, our city of Chattanooga was the attacked by a home grown Moslem Isis convert. He opened fire on a reserve center next door to my favorite restaurant. A few minutes later he complete his mission by firing on a National Guard facility where four Marines and one Navy man was killed. This memorial has sprung up on the site of the first attack as the locals came to grieve and honor the fallen. A more permanent memorial is being erected. Yesterday, I visited the site for the first time.

One of the 4 Marines was originally from my home town - knew his sister when she was in school here. So so sad but what an wonderful outpouring from everyone to help support the families.
