Luna Moth

I've not seen many of these although I think they are fairly common. This one was apparently drying it's wings on my on the bottom of my garage before attempting to fly. They only live a week after reaching adulthood. They mate and lay eggs but never eat. They are usually seen at night.
How lucky is this. I've only seen one once and I did get a shot to it but not as good as yours.
