Grieving My Loss

My beautiful red-bud tree came down in the rain and wind the other day. I had most of it cut up and hauled away. What was left I had pushed back up. The roots are still alive so maybe some of it will come back out.

How sad! I hope that the roots survive and it returns to it's former glory in time!
