@vernabeth Yes and no. The yellow one is an Acer pseudoplatanus ,the red one an Acer palmatum There are more than 350 Acer spieces. The leaves from this one colored from yellow-pink in spring to green and light green at summer .

They're an unusual color - seem more red than the deeper maroon ones I've seen around here. Very pretty.
