I was called to a local house fire today to help give Red Cross assistance. This fire started in the basement, climbed inside the walls, all the way up to the third floor! That light you see coming from the roof, not a skylite...the firemen put it there to let the smoke escape. All the occupants made it out safely and had insurance, so once the shock has worn off, they will be on their road to recovery.
Wow! What a capture! Glad they will recover from this. House fires are always such tragedies with the loss things like family photos and family heirlooms. Other stuff can be replaced.
