I See Strawberries In My Future

Oregon strawberries are awesome! They are smaller than the imported California ones, and they turn bad a whole lot sooner, but they are a whole lot sweeter and have a really strong strawberry flavor. I get to feast on them for about 2-3 weeks at the end of May. What a treat it is, going to the garden and picking my breakfast each morning.

Beautiful shot. I agree, there is nothing like picking berries for breakfast and eating them ten minutes later. We have a couple of blueberry bushes here and we get to do it in June.
