Pretty fun meeting up with AnnDee @anndee, Teresa @wordsmith, Deb @deburahiru and Bonnie@bonniemiles to try some Blue Hour shots of the bridge. How strange it is to make plans with people you have never met, but feel like you really already know! Isn't 365 great?
this was the least amount of shots I have taken! I was so busy chatting I forgot that I was there to shoot too! I need to get a timer so I don't have to stop talking to count the seconds. But it did make it easier to decide which to post...not as much to sort. @nanalisarocks
@nanalisarocks actually, for sunset and blue hour, I don't think this was such a great spot...the hill covered most of the sky...maybe we should find a different spot...
Beautiful! Wish I lived out your way...sounds like so much fun! Love how this turned out! I know you have to shoot pretty quick because sun goes down so fast!
@anndee LOL for sure the chatting was NOT a problem, that was the reason to meet up...and it was so nice not to have to come home and sort through 100s of photos....really sometimes when i get done shooting something I have to sort for DAYS! this way it was a more selective shoot! also, I was so bummed when i got home and realized that at one point I thought, I should let Anndee try my remote and see how much easier it is. As soon as my shot was over I was going to pull it out and hand it over to you for a few shots. I totally forgot!
@anndee my sensor has some spots on it that even when I took it in for a prof cleaning, are still there...I have to removes spots almost every time I shoot the sky. I always try to make sure and give mine a good cleaning before I go, but sometimes even just changing over to a different lens will let some dust in. A pain to edit out!!!
Nice shot! It is also a difficult task for me to take night shots because of exccessive noise at the resulting print. Some times it is not visible at all on the screen, but it is seen on the print. Well done, Vicki! And you are right - our 365 is a great community of positive people!
I don't know how I missed you posting this Vicki. This is a great shot! I really like your perspective and how you captured under the low light conditions!!

I found that I definitely need to have my lens/camera cleaned too. Wow. Everything shows up!
