'V' Is For Vicki

I have always thought it was so special that the geese flying south for the winter fly in 'V' formation.
LOL... superb shot!

V is very versatile!
I've read how they lean on one another and when the one in front is tired another takes their place.

How thoughtful of them :-)

Gorgeous shot. There is so much technique in this sort of flight. Just like cyclists who interchange positions to share the wind pressures against them.

Great capture! What a nice formation - I don't think I've seen one as perfect as that.

This is one of the wonders of nature for me. To think we live a giant's stone throw from a lake, which is well stocked with geese, it's surprising that we rarely see them flying over in v formation. I've certainly never captured it on camera. Well done Vicky!

We see this often , we on the route south. They love grass meadows. A great and beautiful capture

Wonderful shot although I may have been inclined to clone the foliage out of the shot to give a crisper image xx
