White Heron

also known as Egret. After the past two months of caring from his brother, we decided to take off for for a little while. We drove Hwy 1 down the coast of California, one of my favorite drives. My husband is so good about throwing out the anchor when I yell STOP so I can get a shot of something I spotted. He is even good at stopping just to have me take a look to see if there is anything I might want to shoot. I spotted this flock of herons but could not get any closer to them than this with my telephoto.
