Mt. Hood

My grandkids were here for 3 days last week. It is our annual weekend to buy a new school outfit, which has ended up being more than an outfit, but that is part of the fun of being a Grandma. Also added to the weekend has been a trip to Mt. Hood to the Alpine Slide. This year I learned that along with the slide, you can continue up the ski lift and then take a little hike on over to another lift and get all the way to the top. WOW! IT was the most amazing view. I can't believe it took me all these years to discover it. The best kept secret is not a secret anymore!!!

@bonniemiles yes, it is...you take the lift up and don't get off to slide, then when you get to the other end you get off and hike up little more to another lift that takes you straight up...so gorgeous. I had no idea all these years that we could have done it.
