What a long day! First I met a couple of friends for a coffee, then I met a few work friends for an afternoon drinking session, and finally I went to the cinema. It was a good, enjoyable day. I got home and it was almost midnight, so I took a few photos of one of my lampshades.
I was out all day and I didn't take any photos of my friends, which was an opportunity missed. I'm okay with today's picture though considering it was done very quickly.
An avid follower of this blog gave me a critique. It was suggested that I should put more thought into what to shoot each day. It has some validity, but as another friend pointed out sometimes photography is about the moment, and trying to fit in and plan what to photograph daily is almost impossible with everyday life getting in the way. I will try to go on more planned shoots though in the near future.
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
