I've been so tired today. I was anxious waiting for Suman to arrive back from her holiday late last night, so I didn't sleep until well after 1am. When I finally did fall sleep, I woke up again when Suman got home and then struggled to fall back into a slumber.
I couldn't wait to get home from work to see Suman properly, but as usual slow moving traffic caused delays. I took a few shots on my way home because I didn't want to spend long on taking and posting today's photo.
After tweaking this image in Lightroom, I processed it in Photoshop by adding a faded photo mask that partially de-saturated some of the image. I know it's not great but I needed to post something!
The way the mask changed the colour in places seemed apt. With just about everything from the wing mirror and behind in colour and everything in front in monochrome, it shows what I feel when I'm in a traffic jam; the colour signifies progress made, and the grey is the rest of the traffic I have to contend with!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
