Now that was a good night! I had great fun last night with some work colleagues, and got pretty drunk. I took a few photos but my friend from work has my little camera in her handbag! I'll post it on Monday, when I should get it back. Today, I took another photo of my trusty boots that have really had their day.
For this shot I used my 50mm prime lens at its highest aperture, and turned the flash to the left and bounced it off the wall to get the light on one side. In post-processing I increased the clarity and contrast and added a strong vignette.
What is it about being unable to dispose of your favourite footwear? My boots' stitching is coming undone, the soles are shot to smithereens and the laces are awful. I still wear them all the time and I love them, but they do need replacing. Maybe I'm just tight!
Semi-professional photographer based in Nottingham, England, I shoot mainly events and weddings. I'll be posting my work using my Fujis - X100S and X-Pro1.
