The Dark Knight Rises at Wollaton Hall

This is Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan mansion in Nottingham. It's been reported that filming began at the site today for a couple of weeks for the new Batman film.

As a big fan of the last film The Dark Knight, to think that Wollaton Hall is going to stand in for Wayne Manor is quite exciting; it's only a ten minute drive from my house!
