A Mauritian mountain

Mauritius is an island that was formed when undersea volcanoes erupted about 10 million years ago and the molten rock cooled. These mountains are a nod back to that time, when Mauritius was a very different place.

This photo is beautiful. I'd love to visit this place. In light of the age of this mountain, it makes me seem pretty insignificant.
