@beryl LOL - thanks. I use to, well still do, post on Flickr but it has changed hands and I am not a fan of the changes they have made.
My wife and I went to Guatemala this past summer and we were lucky enough to get this plate. We got it from a family who makes lots of different pieces of pottery.
The goal of this image was to see if I could remove the reflections. I kind of achieved my goal. I think instead of using a beauty dish for the key light, it would have been better to use a softbox.
